When she got in the car, Elizabeth took a moment to catch her breath and tried to hold back her tears. She looked at her mother’s house and saw her mom standing in the doorway. Her mother waved at her and rode the three babies inside in the big stroller. Elizabeth let out a sigh and got on the road. And as soon as she did, her mind started racing again. What was going on?
