Before she knew it, Elizabeth moved toward the older couple. “I’m so sorry,” she told the grandparents. Her voice was shaky but sincere. “I want to help make this right. But first, I need to find out what happened to my triplets.” The couple nodded understandably and didn’t blame her for one bit. Elizabeth felt determined and would do whatever it took to find her babies and make things right again.
