After about a month, the owner revisited the store for the first time. He had zero complaints at corporate, but that didn’t mean everything was fine. He wanted to see for himself. Coming in, he was greeted friendly by Becky, the new manager. She got bumped up from baker to manager after Matt’s demotion.
