Lucky at Home
Barbara explained that she lived alone, except for her loyal labrador, Lucky. He was a sweet dog who loved the company of others, and she believed he would welcome Sadie and her siblings. As Barbara kissed each pup’s head, Kate watched in amazement. The dogs were already drawn to her, their tails wagging furiously. And most importantly, Sadie looked entirely at ease. Somehow, Barbara already felt like family.
