But the dog on the other end of Kate’s leash wasn’t all that doubtful. He placed himself in front of Kate’s house for a reason. And he wasn’t coming home empty-handed, especially since he already guided Kate this far. So the moment Kate stopped, the dog started whining and pulling on his leash with great might, trying to pull Kate’s legs where he wanted them to go. “Alright, alright,” Kate luckily said after a short intermission.
