Recent scribblings
Kate felt a chill run down her spine as she scanned the room, searching for clues. An old notebook lay on the table next to the panda, its cover worn and edges frayed. Curiosity got the better of her, and she reached for it. Flipping it open, she found pages filled with neat handwriting. The scribblings seemed to resemble a diary, and the last entry was written this morning, meaning someone was here recently.
