A man dog relationship
The man stopped a few feet from the cabin, glancing around as if searching for something. Then his eyes landed on the wagging dog, and a flicker of recognition crossed his face. “Hi, boy, you’re here. Does that mean you found her?” he said softly, addressing the dog. Kate stepped forward, her voice steady despite her nerves. “Who are you, and why am I here?” she asked softly. The man raised his hands in a gesture of peace.
