An Idea
The shouting grew louder. The crowd parted down the center. Dwayne still couldn’t see who—or what—was coming. His stomach tightened. He glanced back at the guard, hoping for answers. But the royal guard had gone silent again, frozen in place like before. No hints. No expression. The warning was over. Now, whatever was coming had already begun.
