“What do you mean they’re not dogs?” Matthew’s voice trembled with frustration. The vet hesitated before replying. “Their physiology… it’s all wrong.” His vague words only fueled Matthew’s anxiety. Clenching his fists, Matthew demanded more, but the vet’s cryptic responses only deepened his confusion. He wasn’t getting the answers he needed.
