Faces of Despair
Walking past the rows of cages, Matthew locked eyes with some of the animals. Their expressions seemed to convey despair and fear, their movements lethargic from lack of space and care. Each gaze felt like a plea for help, and Matthew’s frustration grew with every step. He clenched his fists, vowing silently to expose whatever operation was keeping these innocent creatures in such terrible conditions.
