“I can’t explain now,” Derek hissed, noticing one of the suited men glancing his way. “Just please, come quickly. I’m on Route 16, about ten miles outside of town.” Madeleine assured him she was on her way. “Okay, okay. Just hang tight, alright?” As Derek hung up, his mind raced back to the packages. He had to know what was inside. Whatever it was, it was clearly important enough to warrant this kind of response.
