As Marc picked up the sealed plastic bag, a wave of realization hit them both. “This might be it,” he whispered, his hands trembling slightly. The recorder inside was pristine, almost untouched by time.
Rick carefully turned it over, inspecting its markings. “If this still works, we might finally have some answers,” he said, a mix of awe and determination in his voice. Marc nodded, but wanted to keep looking for anything else.
