As the crew moved deeper into the jungle, they noticed subtle but undeniable signs of human presence. A series of crude, weathered carvings on tree trunks marked their path.
“These weren’t made by chance,” Rick said, tracing his fingers over the rough lines. Nearby, a bundle of leaves tied with dried vines hung from a low branch. “It’s a marker,” Marc added. “Someone’s been here, guiding their way.”
