Surrounded
The crew instinctively raised their hands in a gesture of peace, unsure of what would happen next. The people who surrounded them were a mix of ages—some were young, others middle-aged.
But all of them looked strong and healthy despite their worn clothes and weathered faces. They said nothing at first, simply watching the Navy crew with wary eyes. “What do they want from us?” Rick whispered.
