A white bearded man
A large hut stood at the center of the village, and as they entered, they found a single man seated at a wooden table. His hair was white, and deep lines etched his face, but his eyes were sharp and alert.
He looked up at them and smiled. “You found us,” he said, his voice raspy but filled with warmth. I’m the pilot. Did you find my recording?”
