Weird signals

Jack enjoyed driving, but today, his usual comfort was disturbed. During his commute, multiple passing drivers signaled toward his car, waving or pointing as if something was wrong. He checked his mirrors, scanning desperately for smoke, sparks, or anything unusual, but nothing seemed off. His dashboard was clear of warnings. Still, the repeated gestures from complete strangers weren’t random. Unease grew inside him, stronger with every passing mile, gnawing at him in a way he couldn’t shake.
