Jack sat in the car for a moment, trying to steady his nerves. “It’s nothing,” he told himself firmly, reaching for the door handle. But as he stepped out, something caught his eye—a blinking red light underneath the car. It pulsed steadily in the dim garage, reflecting off the concrete floor like a warning beacon. Jack froze, his stomach tightening. He didn’t know what it was, but he instantly knew something was very wrong.
