Feeling a lightness

Maybe he was a collector, Megan reasoned silently. Or perhaps a restorer who appreciated the true value of old-fashioned baby gear. Either way, whatever he intended to do with it was his business, not hers. The stroller no longer belonged to her, and she felt oddly free because of it. Megan smiled as she slid the last box into her trunk. For the first time in weeks, her chest felt light, almost weightless again.
