Pulling it open
Robert hesitated briefly, his hand hovering over the zipper. The silence in the room pressed thick against them all. Then, slowly, he pulled. The metallic rip of the zipper sounded impossibly loud, echoing off the walls. Megan clenched her fists, every nerve in her body braced for something bad. As Robert pulled the duffle wide open, the contents came spilling into sight—and all three of them gasped sharply, unable to contain their shock.
