Megan stared at the stroller and duffle bag as if her living room had transformed into a crime scene. Robert and Mr. Holloway argued in hushed tones, but she tuned them out, already forming a plan. Beth. Sweet, frail Beth who had sold her the stroller years ago. Megan felt guilty for never staying in touch, but maybe Beth knew the truth—maybe she was the only person who could explain it.
