Getting ignored

As the morning hours dragged forward, Megan realized the stroller’s charm wasn’t exactly translating into sales. Shoppers wandered through her booth, eyes scanning quickly over the piles of clothes and small toys. A few stopped, some picked up a rattle or thumbed through a children’s book, but nobody so much as glanced at the stroller. Each minute under the sharp midday sun seemed to melt her confidence further, leaving her nerves stretched thin and fragile.
