Weeks later, Jason and Emily received a letter. It was from Kevin. Inside was a simple note: “Thank you. I’m home.”
Along with it was a picture—Kevin, standing in front of the cabin, smiling. For the first time in years, he was at peace. Jason and Emily smiled. They had done the right thing.
