Setting Out Again
Still unnerved by what they’d discovered, Jason and Emily packed their things and left the cabin once again. The forest was quiet, the trail damp with morning dew. They moved slowly, stepping over fallen leaves and tangled roots. Jason focused on the map, trying to keep them on track, while Emily checked her gear. Neither of them spoke much, but the heavy silence between them said more than words ever could.
