A lovely photo
Weeks later, Jason and Emily received an envelope in the mail. It was a letter from Kevin. Inside was a simple handwritten note that read, “Thank you. I’m home.” Tucked with the note was a photo of Kevin standing in front of the cabin, smiling peacefully. For the first time in years, he was truly at peace. Jason and Emily smiled as they looked at it, knowing they had done the right thing.
