Despite their fear, Jason’s eyes fell back on the mirror’s cryptic message. The man wanted them to go to the waterfall. Why? Curiosity gnawed at them, refusing to let go. “If we leave now, we’ll never know,” Emily whispered. Jason hesitated, then nodded grimly. “We need answers.” With shaky determination, they packed a few essentials and stepped out into the forest once more, the looming darkness swallowing their path ahead.
