Then, he closed his eyes and focused on listening carefully. If this was truly a hornet nest, there had to be some kind of buzzing sound coming from within—especially for something this large. He waited in silence, ears straining for any movement, but the air remained completely still. There was no sound at all. The quietness unnerved him even more, as silence often carried its own kind of danger.
