An intrigued Mark
“It’s not a hornet’s nest?” Mark asked, sounding intrigued by the discovery. There was a short pause before he added, “That doesn’t sound like anything I’ve ever heard of.” John shook his head, even though Mark couldn’t see him. “I don’t think so,” he admitted. “It’s just too heavy, and it feels completely different.” The weight in his words reflected his growing unease, the strangeness of the object gnawing at him.
