Once the bear was safely on the ground floor, the officers wheeled in a large transport cage. Working together, they maneuvered the sleeping bear inside, locking the heavy metal door behind it. “That went smoother than I expected,” one officer admitted. His partner chuckled. “Could’ve been worse. At least it didn’t charge.”
