After nobody got out for 5 minutes, Bill finally shut the curtains. His hands were shaking as he paced the room. Bill kept thinking about the voice, the car, the money. He picked up the paper with his name on it—the one he’d signed. “Every weird thing started after this resignation,” he said in a low voice.
