What’s wrong?
“Bill?” came through the phone when Archie finally answered. “What’s wrong?” Archie never needed small talk to sense trouble. “Can you come over?” Bill asked. “It’s… it’s weird, Arch. I’m scared.” There was a pause. “Be there in five.” Bill hung up and waited, trying not to stare at the black car still parked across the street.
