They took the bus to avoid being tracked by Bill’s phone or Archie’s Jeep. It was quiet, just a few passengers scattered across the seats. Bill tried to relax, but Archie kept checking the windows. Then he leaned in. “Black car. Back right corner. Same one you mentioned.” Bill turned pale.
