Marco lifted his lamp, sweeping across the cavern. The only path to the valve ran along a slick stone ledge, inches wide, above the black pit.
One mistake and they’d fall into the roaring abyss. The spray made the rock gleam like glass. It wasn’t just dangerous. It was almost impossible to cross.
