Strange Walls
As Marco’s eyes adjusted, he noticed the walls. They weren’t rough like broken earth should be. Instead, they were worn down, unnaturally smooth, almost polished.
He crouched lower, following the clean lines with his gaze. This wasn’t the work of an earthquake. Someone had dug this tunnel, and they had done it a long time ago.
