Leaving a message
By the end of their explanation, they passed the front door. Everyone else at the party franticly walked around the backyard, so nobody noticed what happened near the front. But someone had left a message for them through the mail slot in the front door. It wasn’t neatly packaged in an envelope, just folded in half and stuck through.
