One night, around 2 a.m., Caleb entered his parents’ bedroom looking pale. “Someone was in the garden,” he whispered. Jonah sat up fast. Caleb said he saw a person near the trees, walking toward the shed. “I swear I saw a light in there,” he added. Jonah and Judith exchanged a wide-eyed look.
