Jonah threw on his robe and boots and told them to stay inside. He grabbed a flashlight and stepped into the chilly night. The grass was wet, and moonlight cast long shadows. Jonah followed Caleb’s directions to the far corner. But when he got there, everything was still. The padlock on the shed had remained in place.
