“Olivia?” Jonah finally said, his voice low and cautious. The old woman flinched slightly, startled by his presence. She looked up at him with red eyes and a face worn with grief and time. She didn’t seem angry. Just… tired. “You found it,” she said softly, as if he’d unlocked more than just a door.
