A cheerful morning
The next morning, the sun rose early on the Canadian tundra, and with it, so did Lucas. His fire had kept up during the night, and his shelter did the same. But the most uplifting part was the effect his fire had. The door, which was frozen shut yesterday, now appeared to be completely thawed out. Lucas brushed the frost off his jacket and stepped toward the door.
