The man shook his head slowly, too tired to answer. “Okay,” Lucas said gently. “It’s alright. Let’s just get you out of here.” He wrapped an arm around the stranger’s shoulder and guided him forward. Each step was a struggle. The man stumbled once, nearly falling, but Lucas kept him upright. “How long have you been in there?” Lucas asked.
