There was a long silence. The younger brother finally said, “You should’ve told us. We could’ve helped.” The missing men nodded sadly. “We know. But shame kept us.” Jake looked around the cave. “So what now? You can’t keep living like this, right? You have to go back and face your family. Face the truth.” The fishermen took some convincing but finally agreed and came with them.
