Emotional reunion
The cave erupted with raw emotion. The brothers rushed forward, arms locking around the men they had mourned for years. Sobs shook the air, sharp and unsteady.
“We thought you were dead,” Sam choked, voice cracking. “You vanished without a trace.” Relief poured out in sobs, joy tangled with heartbreak, echoing in the cavern.
