Elliot tries to explain
Elliot explained why he was there. He told her everything, about his unknown uncle, and how he inherited the key to that massive floating home in the middle of the lake. Elliot even held out the key to prove his point. June said nothing and just listened to Elliott’s words. But when he was finished, she gave the same answer everyone else in town did.
