Elliot could hear June call back over her shoulder from a distance. “Good luck, see you tomorrow, I hope.” Elliot knew this remark was meant to be ironic. But with all the creepy stuff he heard about this place, it still filled him with justified nerves. There was no hiding the fact that Elliot was a bit frightened and reluctant to enter.
