A face to the name
As Eliot’s curious walk continued, he saw old portraits line the hallway walls. Most were faded, but one caught his attention. A man in a long coat stood by the lake, the floating house behind him. His face bore a strange resemblance to Elliot’s. He leaned closer and saw a plaque beneath it: “Walter Jonas, 1964.” Elliot’s heart skipped. This had to be his mysterious uncle.
