Branching out
The hallway branched into multiple rooms, each grand and odd in its own way. The library was packed wall to wall with books, many marked with scientific symbols he did not understand, and handwritten notes were everywhere. Elliot picked one up. It was a journal filled with diagrams and boat schematics. “Why would a man who never left keep such detailed plans?” Elliot mumbled as he flipped pages.
