Inside, the marines found roughly ten survivors huddled together. Crew members, dirty and worn, their faces showed exhaustion but their bodies proved resilience. Andrew raised a calming hand, his voice quick as he introduced the newcomers. He explained that Morgan and his men were allies, here to help. Nervous eyes studied the soldiers’ weapons warily, but none spoke against their presence. The silence in the room spoke volumes—fear and relief mingled in equal measure.
