The Engine Room
The engine room pulsed with life, but not the kind they’d hoped for. Steam hissed from broken valves. A red alarm light on the ceiling blinked, bathing the room in an eerie crimson hue. It looked like hell’s waiting room. The sound of moving parts echoed, distorted by fog. They couldn’t see more than five feet ahead. But they knew something was in here with them.
