Dylan looked down. “So that smoke. You made it?” Ross nodded. “We got the auxiliary system working for heat. It runs on its own generator. We needed to cook the last of our sealed meals. The smoke was just from the exhaust stack restarting.” Mason exhaled deeply. “So no haunting. Just survival.” Ross managed a weak smile. “There’s been enough horror without ghosts.”
