They had done countless climbs together before, trusting each other completely. They moved as one, smooth and confident. Halfway up, a strong gust of wind slammed against them. Mason lost his grip for a second and his body swung outward from the cliff. Luckily Dylan’s hand shot out and caught Mason’s wrist just in time, steadying him before he slipped.
