The higher they climbed, the more treacherous the path became. Loose stones shifted beneath Andrew’s shoes, threatening to roll him off balance. The cliffside dropped steeply at his side, leaving only one option if he slipped—falling into the jagged rocks far below. His stomach tightened, but he pressed forward. The reindeer walked with confidence, pausing only to glance back at him. Andrew clenched his fists, forcing himself to keep climbing.
